Mai Fatty was the first Interior Minister under President Adama Barrow
The newly appointed adviser of the Gambian leader Adama Barrow, Mai Fatty, has renewed his support for the administration in stirring the country to the right direction.
The leader of the Gambia Moral Congress and his party executive made public Mai’s appointment as adviser months after he was fired as an Interior Minister on Tuesday.
Fatty said on his Facebook on Wednesday that he will “commit” himself to fighting corruption and corrupt practices in the country.
“I will support the President in re-engineering government as well as in injecting discipline and competence in the public service, to better respond to public aspirations and reasonable demands. We must also make the NDP work for all Gambians. Together, we can,” he said.
