UTG Holds Orientation For 2022/2023 Batch
The University of The Gambia (UTG) earlier Monday held orientation for the 2022/2023 intakes.
The new students numbering 1, 627 have been admitted into the various schools in the UTG, to pursue undergraduate and graduate programmes, according to a UTG statement.
The ceremony held at the UTG Kanifing campus aims to inform the new students of their responsibilities, the University culture, among others.
The event presided over by Vice-Chancellor, Professor Herbert Robinson, was graced by the student leaders, senior academic, and administrative staff of the university.
The University of the Gambia has received 2,891applications, but 1,627 have been successful, the UTG statement added.
