UDP: Delegates Reject Proposal To Create 2nd Deputy Party Leader Position

The United Democratic Party delegates have rejected a proposal tabled at their National Congress taking place in Janjangbureh to create a second Deputy Party leader executive position within the party hierarchy.
As part of the deliberations taking place during their National Congress that is currently underway, the United Democratic Party delegates also rejected a proposal put forward to have a Deputy Treasurer position created in the Diaspora. The party delegates, however, adapt to have Regional Chairpersons included in their National Executive.
Aji Yam is the current Deputy Party leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) and she is running unopposed for that position.
