By Buba Gagigo
The United Democratic Party (UDP) 2nd Deputy National President, who doubles as the Mayor of Banjul said that Gambian women have agreed to collectively vote out President Adama Barrow in December.
“If there is lack of medicine in the hospitals, if food stuff is expensive, it doesn’t affect anyone more than the women. That is why I said they are not fighting anyone, but women. But they will know this year that women have agreed to come together to remove him (president Adama Barrow). He will come down. If people ask them their manifesto, they say Ousainu, when they are asked about their policies; they say Darboe, What are your programmes? They said UDP. I will tell them, you cannot take this country by mentioning only Ousainu Darboe and UDP. Tell people about the expensive University, our children who are at home and cannot attain University. Tell us how to help them. Tell us how to build technical institutions for our children at home to learn skills. And also how to help out children to have jobs,” Rohey Malick Lowe told UDP supporters on Monday.
The United Democratic Party 2nd Deputy National Presidentmade the remarks while addressing youth and women in the West Coast Region.
