Kerr Fatou is reliably informed that the central committee of The United Democratic Party (UDP) is set to vet the 4 applicants shortlisted for the position of its 2021 Presidential Candidate.
The party’s Central Committee is vetting Ousainu Darboe, the Secretary General; Abdou Darboe, the Deputy Regional Chairman; Ousainou Mboob, the KMC Regional Administrative Secretary; and Lamin J. Darboe from Gunjur for approval in accordance with Article 23, paragraphs 3 (b and c) of the Party’s Constitution
It would be recalled that the UDP last month invited applications from its membership for the position of its candidate for the upcoming Presidential election slated for 4th December 2021. The deadline for interested applicants to submit their applications to the party’s Central Committee was 7th April 2021.
