United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLGA) congratulated REFELA Africa President and Mayor of Banjul Rohey Malick Lowe on her reelection as the Mayor of Banjul.
In a statement, the UCLGA said that Lowe’s reelection was a testament to her unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership.
“Congratulations on your re-election as Mayor of the City of Banjul for a second term!
“This remarkable achievement is a testament to your unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and the trust that the community has placed in you,” they wrote.
The statement continues; “Your commitment to serving the people of your city and those of your country and making a positive difference in your city has been truly inspiring. Over the past term, you have demonstrated exceptional vision, resilience, and the ability to bring about meaningful change. Your accomplishments have had a lasting impact on your community, and we are thrilled to see you continue your important work for another term.
“Under your guidance, we can look forward to further progress for the REFELA Network that you’ll continue to lead. We have no doubt that your second term will be marked by continued success, collaboration, and positive change.
“Once again, congratulations on your re-election as Mayor. We are proud of you and
