This Is Not NAWEC’s Problem, It’s AGIB’s Problem – NAWEC PRO Says Of Missing Millions From NAWEC’s Account

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) Pierre Sylva, said the D15.5 million that is transferred from the NAWEC’s account at AGIB is not his company’s problem, but AGIB Bank’s.
“All we know is that we have a contract standing order with AGIB Bank to take care of our funds through an account. So, that account is under them to supervise. We are keeping fingers crossed for the outcome of the investigation by the police. And it’s the only thing we can do, because this is not a NAWEC problem, but an AGIB Problem,” said PRO Sylva.
The Public Relation Officer PRO made these remarks after he confirmed to Kerr Fatou that D15.5 million was transferred from their AGIB Bank Account by unknown individuals to different accounts at different banks, recently.
