Senegalese High Commissioner To The Gambia Bids Farewell To The President
President Adama Barrow and the outgoing Senegalese Ambassador
The President of the Republic, Mr Adama Barrow received the outgoing High Commissioner of the Republic of Senegal, H.E. Bassirou Sène for a farewell call at the State House Friday, as he concludes his tenure in office.
President Barrow thanked High Commissioner Sène and expressed his appreciation for his efforts to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
Both parties highlighted the good state of the historic relations between The Gambia and Senegal and expressed the will of the two governments to continue advancing in cooperation.
High Commissioner Bassirou Sène recognised the development projects carried out by the Barrow administration. He added that the President’s leadership had solidified the bilateral ties between the neighbouring countries without administrative bottlenecks.
The fraternal ties between the two countries have been strengthened under the Barrow administration.
Also present for the farewell call at State House was Lamin Ka Mbaye, Conselor, Charge d’affaires Al, Lt. Col Oumar Faye, Defense Attache, Pape Latyi Sarr, Alieu Njie, Secretary to Cabinet amongst others.
