President Barrow Appoints Sabally As Deputy National Campaign Manager

President Adama Barrow, in his capacity as Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party (NPP), has appointed Momodou Sabally as the Deputy National Campaign Manager of the party, with immediate effect.
The announcement was made through an official statement issued by the NPP, which highlighted that the appointment was made in line with Resolution 001/2025, passed by the NPP Congress.
“His Excellency President Adama Barrow, in his capacity as Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party (NPP), has appointed Mr. Momodou Sabally as the Deputy National Campaign Manager of the NPP, effective immediately. This significant appointment is made in accordance with Resolution 001/2025, duly passed by the NPP Congress,” NPP said in a statement.
According to the party, Sabally’s appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the NPP’s grassroots engagement and mobilization strategies ahead of upcoming political activities.
President Barrow extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Sabally and expressed his full confidence in his ability to deliver in his new role. The President also reaffirmed the support of the party’s executive and its wider membership.
In the statement, signed by NPP Deputy Spokesperson Seedy SK Njie, President Barrow called on all NPP members and allied parties to continue building on their accomplishments, work in unity, and deepen collaboration across all levels of the party structure.
“The Secretary General and Party Leader of the NPP extended his warmest congratulations to Mr. Sabally on this important official responsibility. He conveyed his full support, as well as that of the party’s executive and its entire membership. Furthermore, the Party Leader seized this opportunity to issue a strong call to action to all members and supporters of the NPP and its allied partner parties. He urged them to build upon their existing achievements, to collaborate seamlessly at all levels, and to fortify their bonds of unity and solidarity.”
