In a press statement dated August 2, 2024, the Gambia Police Force announced the arrest of Momodou Jallow, a 35-year-old security officer from Marshall Security Company. Jallow is accused of stabbing two police officers during an altercation at the Brufut Villa guard posts on August 1, 2024.
The statement reported that the injured officers were taken to Kanifing General Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
“The weapon has been recovered, and the suspect is in custody, pending further proceedings,” the statement reads
