The United Democratic Party’s Deputy Administrative Secretary encouraged youth of Baddibou Noo Kunda village to register for the December election.

“One week from today, they [IEC] will start voter registration. I’m appealing to all of you, if you are 18 years, please go and get your voter’s card,” Oley Dibba-Wadda appealed.

She also reminded the youth of the importance of voter registration.

Dibba made these remarks in the Upper Baddibou settlement in the North Bank Region on Sunday while addressing scores of youth at the opening of a football tournament in honour of the late Lamin Ndambu Dibba who served as Minister of Lands and Regional Government from 2017 to 2018; and then Minister of Agriculture from July 2018 to March 2019 under President Barrow, before the termination of his ministerial services. Lamin later died in November 2020.

The tournament was opened by Korsimangoto FC and Kassama Kunda FC who drew one all in the game.
