The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has released the schedule for the nomination of presidential candidates for the December 4 election.
The session would start on 30th October at 9:30am with independent candidates- Joseph Joof; Marie Sock, Alhaji Kurang and Mathew Gomez.
Ebrima Tabora Manneh, Momodou Bah (1), Bankole Ahadzie, and ANRD’s Lamin Bojang would come on 31st October (Sunday).
The United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate would show up on 1st November (Monday) at 11am. Later, Gambia for All (GFA), Gambia Moral Congress (GMC) and All People’s Party (APP) would take their turn on the same day.
On 2nd November (Tuesday) GDC candidate, CA candidate as well as independent candidates Mamadi K.S Camara and Momodou Bah (2) would appear for the session.
GANU, PDOIS, GAP and Tamsir Jasseh would have their turn on 3rd November (Wednesday); while on 4th November (Thursday) would see Essa Mbye Faal, NPP and Matarr Nyang.
On 5th November (Friday) which is the last day will see Papa Faal nominated at 9:30am, then NUP candidate at 11am; Democratic Party candidate would close the list.
