The New council members and Youth & Sports minister Bakary Y. Badjie

Bakary Y. Badjie, the Minister of Youth and Sports, presided over the inauguration of the new Council of the National Youth Council at NaNA Conference Hall in Bakau.
The National Youth Council made the announcement on their Facebook page.
“The Council of the National Youth Council of The Gambia has been inaugurated by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Bakary Y Badjie at NaNA Conference Hall in Bakau.
“Today’s inauguration marks the beginning of the two-year term of the newly elected council members of NYC.
“The eleven-member council comprises; Ida Jatta, Chairperson, Lala Touray, Female Representative, Isatou Secka, KM, Isatou Jallow, Banjul, Baboucarr Sidibeh, URR, Abdoulie Jawara, CRR, Ousman Sanneh, LRR, Lamin Sanneh, WCR, Pa Modou Gaye, NBR, Alagie Jarju, Executive Director, NYC and Suute Jawo, Department of Youth and Sports
“Hon. Minister Badjie tasked the new council to represent the interest of all young people and build on the achievements of their predecessors.
“He assured them of his ministry’s support in achieving their set goals as a council.” The statement concluded.
