Malta: Gambian seriously injured in construction site accident
This is the third serious incident in a few days, reported an English-language daily newspaper, Malta Times
An unnamed Gambian migrant worker in Malta was seriously injured in a construction site accident on Wednesday morning, reported Malta Times.
The police said the worker, a 31-year-old man from Gambia, fell a height of two storeys while working at Triq Bella Vista, San Ġwann.
The accident happened shortly after 11am.
A 26-year-old man died on November 26 after falling nine storeys at a construction site in Sliema.
Last Friday, a Syrian worker was critically injured when he fell five storeys into a shaft in Gzira.
On Monday afternoon a construction worker was seriously injured when a number of bricks fell on him in Zabbar.
