Lamin S. Demba Appointed Gambia’s Deputy Head Of Mission In Spain

A Gambian leaving in the United Kingdom, Lamin S. Demba has been appointed as The Gambia Deputy Head of Mission in Spain.
“With profound humility, I would like to express gratitude to His Excellency President Adama Barrow for the trust and confidence in appointing me in the position of Deputy Head of Mission in Spain. My appointment is indeed confirmed to me by the ministry of Foreign Affairs ministry,” he said in a statement on Facebook on Friday.
Mr. Demba took the opportunity to thank everyone who reached out to him, after his appointment.
“I would like to thank all who reached out to me by calling, sending massages (sic), and on FB comments to congratulate me. Thank you a bunch! Special thanks to my NPP family for the support and show of appreciation throughout. As such appointments comes (sic) with adherence to the General Order, that will have some political limitations going forward, However, to (the) success of NPP, I shall always remain. I look forward with great commitment to serving our dear nation. Once again, thanking you all,” he concluded.
Lamin S. Demba was the National People’s Party Diaspora chairman, before his appointment.
