At least 40 people were reportedly hospitalized in Jiffarong after a football match between Jiffarong and Sankandi, allegedly due to black magic used by Sankandi against Jiffarong players and fans.
An eyewitness said that a football game between the two villages, Jiffarong and Sankandi in Kiang, was played in Dumbuto village. Immediately after the game, players and fans from Jiffarong village started falling ill, allegedly due to black magic.
In an audio recording, a woman can be heard confessing that a goat was buried as part of the black magic ritual to weaken the Jiffarong players. Two people are said to be in critical condition.
