A fire outbreak in the early hours of Wednesday claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy and property in Tallinding Kunjang.
“…It was about 11am. Nobody could explain exactly what happened. Neighbours started shouting when they saw smoke coming out from one of the rooms (of the affected building). They started shouting and calling for help. They also called the Fire & Rescue Service to come and help. A life was lost, the boy is less than 15 years old, but he is not mentally okay. Properties were (also) lost. The owner of the house is looking for assistance,” an eyewitness told Kerr Fatou.
However, the witness could not establish the cause of the fire, at the time of going to press.
