IMF Approves US$14.4 Million For Gambia

The International Monetary Fund [IMF] Executive Board has approved US $14.4 Million for the Gambia under the Extended Credit Facility [ECF], recently.
The amount is the third disbursement under the ECF and it is meant to help the country meet its financing needs, mitigate the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as support its post-pandemic recovery.
The US $14.4 Million disbursement followed the completion of the second review of the country’s programme supported by Extended Credit Facility (ECF).
