The National Assembly of The Gambia has announced that Honourable Fatoumatta Njai, National Assembly Member for Banjul South and Chairperson of the Gender Committee, has been recognized as one of Africa’s 100 Most Impactful Voices of 2025 by ABCD Africa Magazine.
The Africa ABCD 100 Most Impactful Voices list celebrates individuals who are shaping the future of the continent through innovation, leadership, and advocacy. Hon. Njai’s inclusion on this prestigious list is a testament to her unwavering commitment to positive change and progressive leadership.
A former member of the ECOWAS Parliament, Hon. Njai was also recognized among the 100 Most Reputable Africans in 2023 by Reputation Poll International (RPI), a leading global reputation management firm.
Reacting to the recognition, Hon. Njai, who is also a member of The Gambia’s delegation to the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), expressed her gratitude for the honor.
“I continue to thank the Almighty and those I work with, as well as those who elected me to serve— a responsibility I will continue to uphold with integrity and commitment,” she stated.
