The Minister of Tourism and Culture, who is also the Party Leader of the National Reconciliation Party (NRP), Hamat NK Bah, has called on the voters in the West Coast region to vote for the National People’s Party (NPP) in the upcoming Local Government Elections.
“The Local Government elections are fast approaching, you have asked for water, electricity, and other amenities. If you don’t vote for president Barrow how can you get all of that? it will be difficult to get them.
“If President Barrow doesn’t have councilors and chairmen how can he do the work you want? So let us go out and vote for his candidates so that you can get all you want. Because without councilors and chairpersons from his party, he cannot bring the development because it will be very difficult for him to bring development”, he said.
The NRP leader urged residents of Kombo to get ready, work together for the Local Government elections, and vote for president Barrow’s candidates to get the development they asked for.
Bah stressed that the NPP is its own enemy because they always press the self-destruct button at every given opportunity saying “if we don’t come together and work together, the party will be divided into two”.
Honorable Bah made these remarks at a meeting held in Mandinarin where the president held a meeting, as he continues his meet the people’s tour in the West Coast region.
