GDC Rescinds Decision To Sack Their Public Relation officer

The Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) has has announced rescinding its decision to fire its Public Relations Officer, Ablie Jallow.
“I write to inform members of the party and the public that the Council of Elders Committee has mediated between the Central Executive Committee and Abdoulie Jallow for a dialogue over his sacking. The intervention of the Council of Elders has resulted in the return of Abdoulie Jallow to the GDC, and he has assumed back all his previous responsibilities as the party’s National Spokesperson and Desk Officer of North Bank Region,” the party announced.
The party says their decision will pave the way to reconcile and forge ahead for the interest of the party.
Hon. Ablie Jallow, Public Relations officer of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) was sacked from the GDC after his withdrawal as a candidate for chairperson of the North Bank Region a few days before the Mayor and Chairperson election.
