The Gambia Police Force, supported by Sutura Company, celebrated the inauguration of a new Madrasa and Day-Care Facility at the Banjul Police Barracks on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
The event was distinguished by the presence of the Minister of Lands and Religious Affairs, Hamat N.K. Bah, and Assistant Inspector General of Police Administration, Ebrima Bah, who represented Inspector General of Police, Seedy Mukhtar Touray. Minister Bah expressed his appreciation for the project’s profound impact on police families in Banjul and pledged continued support for regional development.
Also speaking at the occasion, AIG Ebrima Bah highlighted the facility’s crucial role in supporting and empowering police families by providing a conducive environment for their children. He emphasized that such initiatives are vital for enhancing the welfare of officers and their families.
The Gambia Police Force remains committed to collaborating with partners and stakeholders to improve the welfare of its personnel and advance community welfare across the region.
