The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) has named Inspector Siman Lowe as its new Public Relations Officer, succeeding Deputy Commissioner Mamanding S. Dibba, who has been reassigned as the Coordinator of Press and Public Relations.
In a statement, the GID announced: “In a recent reshuffle of the Public Relations Office of the Gambia Immigration Department (GID), the public is hereby notified as follows:
“That Deputy Commissioner of Immigration Mamanding S. Dibba is now appointed as “The Coordinator of Press and Public Relations” of the Gambia Immigration Department, whereas Inspector Siman Lowe takes over the role of Public Relations Officer of GID.” The Gambia Immigration Department said.
The Department noted that the changes aim to improve its communication strategies and strengthen ties with the public, media, and key stakeholders.
The GID also called for the continued cooperation of the public, expressing hope that these efforts will help promote smooth execution of its mandate for the benefit of all.
“The Gambia Immigration Department solicits the continued support and cooperation of the public in fostering good relationships for a smooth implementation of its mandate in the best interest of all and sundry,” they concluded.
