The Election Situation Room (ESR) promised to release today (Sunday) its preliminary statement and general report on Saturday’s parliamentary election.
“ESR will make public its preliminary statement on Sunday, April 10, 2022, and a general report at the end of the electoral process,” said DR David Tommy Chairman, National Elections Response Group while speaking to journalists early on Saturday at a press briefing on the National Assembly election process.He called on all stakeholders to be tolerant of the electoral process and be true to the ideals of peace and social cohesion.
DR David Tommy expressed the group’s commitment to observing the ethics, integrity and transparency of the electoral process in order to contribute to the prevention of violence and human rights violations.
