One of Gambia’s finest singers, Sanna Singhateh, (ST Gambian Dream) would launch his sixth (6) Album on Saturday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The album titled “Sosolaso” would be his sixth album since he started his musical career.
The Brikama born superstar singer previously launched 5 albums titled: Distinction, ‘Watoo Tijay’, ‘Saluto’, ‘Gambiana’, and ‘Dinding Mansa’.
Speaking to the journalists at a re-launch press conference, St Brikama Boyo said he always works hard to meet expectations of his fans.
“I know my fans always have great expectations. Me working hard is all about meeting my fans’ expectations, and probably to even exceed it,” he said.
When asked about details of the title of his would-be launched album, “Sosolaso” ST said album titles are very important to him and that he thinks it should have connections to the songs on it.
“I choose ‘Sosolaso’ because it actually puts everyone together in one bag. ‘Sosolaso’, the name actually came from the game we used to play when we were kids. In The game, everyone is involved, when it starts, you are part of it, whether you want to or you don’t want to be part of it. That is the energy this album actually produces. It involves everyone,” ST explained to journalists.
The mega event this Saturday (5th February 2022) at the Independence Stadium in Bakau would attract fans home and abroad.
