The Drug Law Enforcement Agency of The Gambia (DLEAG) on Monday enlightened students and staff at Gunjur Upper and senior secondary school on issues surrounding drugs.
“Presentation were centered on the effects of illicit drug trafficking and drug abuse on school going children, types of drug, classification of psychoactive substances, routes of administration of the psychoactive substances and the legal and health implication of drugs.
“We believe this will sink in the minds of the students and better prepare them to stay away from drugs and concentrate on their education,” the agency said in a statement on Narco-mag DLEAG Gambia Facebook page earlier Monday.
The DLEAG thanked the school management for the invitation.
