Darboe Optimistic Of Victory Over Barrow On 4th December
By Buba Gagigo
The Secretary General and leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) said UDP supporters would on 4th December vote him as president, instead of Barrow.
“Between May 29th and July 11th 2021, all of you went out and took your voter’s cards. You took your time, joined the queue and did everything that the law allowed you to do to take your voter’s cards. The reason you did this was because you know the importance of voter’s cards. You know it’s the only vote that makes someone to be president and the same vote is the one that can remove a president. I know you have decided that the person who is in power today [Barrow], you will remove him [Barrow] and elect Lawyer Ousainu Darboe,” Lawyer Ousainu Darboe told a crowd of UDP supporters in Busumbala on Saturday.
The UDP leader, Lawyer Ousainu Darboe, made these remarks at his party’s rally in Busumbala on Saturday.
