The Gambia Police Force has announced the arrest of Abdou Kadir Barry, who was on the run after allegedly murdering Amadou Jallow at Banjulinding Upper and Senior Secondary School on Friday, July 19, 2024.
“The alleged murderer, Abdou Kadir Barry, involved in the stabbing of Amadou Jallow that led to his death on July 19 at Banjulnding Upper and Senior Secondary School, was arrested on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Additionally, the alleged murder weapon has been recovered. Meanwhile, the police express appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the public in the ongoing investigation,” the police reported.
Amadou Jallow was reportedly stabbed in the neck by Abdou Kadir Barry following an altercation. Barry initially fled the scene but has now been apprehended.
