In the early hours of Monday, 13th January 2025, armed robbers attacked the Farafenni GNPC in the North Bank Region, targeting police officers on duty.
Two PIU officers were on duty when the robbers opened fire. One officer sustained injuries but courageously returned fire, engaging the attackers.
