The Public Relations Officer, Coalition of Progressive Gambians (CoPG), has said that his group has not yet reached an agreement with the Supreme Islamic Council (SIC) on day two of their discussion to postpone their planned November protest.
“We have not agreed on anything yet, but I believe we will agree on something tomorrow (Wednesday). I don’t want to disclose anything for now, until tomorrow (Wednesday),” CoPG Public Relations Officer, Lamin Bojang, told Kerr Fatou Tuesday night.
The coalition of Progressive Gambians started an indoor dialogue with the Supreme Islamic Council and others since Monday aimed at postponing their planned 11th November protest.
The dialogue is scheduled to continue today with a consensus to postpone the the much talked about protest scheduled for this Friday.
The Coalition of Progressive Gambians, which planned to protect on 11th November are demanding the government to address the high cost of living, promote transparency, and provide better services for the country, among others.
