Dr. Isatou Touray has been relieved of her position as Vice President of the Republic of the Gambia. Amie Fabureh, minister of Agriculture was also not retained in the new cabinet.
In the new cabinet announcements made Wednesday evening, President Adama Barrow has appointed three women to his new cabinet. They are:
Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources -Mrs. Rohey John Manjang
Minister of Basic and Secondary Education -Mrs. Claudiana Anna Cole
Minister of Gender, Children and Social Welfare – Mrs. Fatou Kinteh
