The Gambia Under 20 who lost their opener against Morocco in the AFCON and drew against Tanzania in their second match, will play a must win game against Ghana at 7pm on Monday (Tomorrow).
Scorpions must win the game or face elimination in the competition.
The Gambia who are making their first appearance in the tournament in a decade, is looking for their first win in the competition. While Ghana are already with four points after a 4-0 win against Tanzania in their opener, and a goalless draw against Morocco.
Speaking ahead of the game coach Matarr Mboge says they want to make sure that their fate lies in their hands by going out to win. He also says they will be very cautious of their defense to avoid conceding goals as well.
“Our objective is clear and that is to win,” the Coach says
Ghana lead the group with four points, and four goals. Morocco are second with four points one goal, while Gambia and Tanzania followed with with a goal and a point each.
