The United Democratic Party (UDP) has broken silence on on its position on the recent draft constitution talks held in Abuja in Nigeria.
In a recent tweet, the party stated: “Parties have conceded to the idea of changes to be made to the draft before its re-submission in parliament but @OfficialUDPGmb has rejected that idea and wants the draft to remain unaltered and be taken to parliament as it is.”
Until this development, the party didn’t talk about its position on the Abuja talks. The leader of the United Democratic Party didn’t talk to reporters at the Banjul airport upon arrival.
