The Truth Commission probing the human rights violations of Yahya Jammeh has postponed its Monday sittings due to technical complications as a result of an electric spark.
The Commission was scheduled to have a session with its eighth witness Babucarr Jatta, the current commissioner of the Janjanbureh prison.
Jatta was mentioned by several previous witnesses. He was part of the medical team at Mile 2 during the days of the July 22 military takeover.
The problem which started with an electric spark resulted into technical problems affecting both the sound quality and coverage of the sessions.
The spark appeared to have affected the meter causing unreliable electric supply.
Jatta continues his testimony tomorrow.
