Travellers to and from the North Bank of The Gambia are in trouble after heavy rains destroyed a section of the road between Jokadou Dasilami and Daru Fodeba.
It comes after two days of heavy downpour in the area causing severe damage to the two culverts that have been serving as drainage outlets on this critical road.
A user of the road Ba-ansu Fofana said : “Vehicles and passengers are now forced to branch off to the already dilapidated feeder road through Ndarameh Joka.”
Its a nightmarish condition that has left people stranded and vehicles stuck in the area.
NRA is said to have been alerted about the development.
