The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) has announced that due to routine maintenance works underway at KARPOWER, some customers would experience interruptions of electricity transmission and water supply.

“NAWEC informs the general public that KARPOWER is carrying out routine maintenance on one of its engines for a duration of one week. During this period, some areas will experience limited load shedding while some customers may encounter some interruptions in their water supply system.

However we will endeavour to equitably distribute the available capacity,” they announced on their Facebook page.

NAWEC apologised for the inconvenience, the service interruptions may cause its customers and promised to restore normal supply as soon as works on the engine are completed.
