A prominent United Democratic Party (UDP) member, Momodou Sabally, has suggested his party to “re-strategise” to protect its party members and leadership.
“IGP Sanyang is apparently not interested in justice. He is not interested in fair play. He is only interested in protecting his job. So for me I don’t think IGP Sanyang will even listen to any critics of what he’s doing. I think it is for the UDP, to sit down and re-strategise and know that this is a government that does not care about fair play. This is a government that does not care about rule of law. So UDP should re-strategize and find a way of defending party members and the party leader in particular, because we are not going to accept people insulting Ousainu Darbo and Adama Barrow and this cabal sitting down and laughing at that. Enough is enough. We are going to take a step about this, now,” Sabally told Kerr Fatou on Thursday.
These comments by the former Presidential Affairs Minister (Momodou Sabally) came on the hills of Ebrima Dibba’s invitation to the Police Headquarters for questioning.
