The President of the Republic of the Gambia, HE Adama Barrow will embark on a meet the people tour today (Monday) November 20th, 2022.
The President and his entourage today, are expected to conduct a meeting in Barra, a visit to the Niumi- Hakalang Road project and another meeting in Ndungu Kebbeh in the North Bank Region.
The President during his three week tour will visit project sites and hold meetings in all the regions . The tour ends on the 12th of December, 2022 with a meeting in Banjul.
Meet The People Tour is a constitutionally required engagement that allows the President and his Cabinet to dialogue with Gambians and gather firsthand information on the impact of his government’s policies and programmes to address them adequately.
