The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) learnt with sadness the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, which sad event happened on the 8th September 2022.
The Secretary General and Party Leader of the PPP Hon. Kebba E. Jallow, the Central Committee, Board of Trustees, and the general membership of the party extend our condolences to the Royal Family, (and) the People of Great Britain through the office of The British High Commission in The Gambia.
The People’s Progressive Party under the leadership of the late Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawaras had a great relationship with Her Majesty and the people of Great Britain.
We pay our respect to her memory and join the entire world to mourn this irreplaceable loss with the people of Great Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations.
We pray that her gentle soul rest in peace.
