The National Assembly member for Bususmbala constituency Saikouba Jarju has said that politicians and political leaders don’t have any say on the draft constitution, therefore there will be no progress on the draft constitution talks, if Good Luck Jonathan depends on them.
“First what I want to say politicians and political leaders don’t have any say on the draft constitution, so if Good Luck Jonathan depends on them they will not make any progress. All their talks will not change anything at national assembly. It is rejected by the National Assembly, and can only come back by the National Assembly.”
The National Assembly member made these remarks on Kerr Fatou weekly show ‘Politic Kaacha’ on Tuesday.
Hon. Saikouba Jarju is the National Assembly member for Bususmbala constituenty. He was part of the 17th parliamentarians who voted against the draft bill in 2020.
