Ebra Topp, GDC Chairman for Kudang Ward and Amadou Manneh UDP Constituency Chairman for Upper Fulladu have defected to NPP.

The defected last Sunday at a ceremony held in President’s village Mankamang Kunda presided over by The Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party H.E Adama Barrow.

“Me Topp assured President Barrow of my readiness to work tirelessly for his re-election on 4th December, 2021,” he said.

Topp was led to the President’s village by Dr Demba Sabally, NPP Deputy National President, according to our source.

Similarly, the UDP Constituency Chairman for Upper Fulladu Amadou Manneh has also joined the president’s camp, the same even in Mankamang Kunda.

“Me joining the NPP from UDP is like; I just travelled out of my house and come back. That is how it is to me. It does not mean that I do not belong here; I belong to NPP so it is my home.

“It is not that someone brought me back to NPP; no, it is my own thinking to come back to NPP. I came back to my home and Alhamdulillah for that. NPP is our party because we are the founders of it.  So I returned to my home,” Manneh said in a viral video.

Meanwhile, GDC Youth President Mc Cham Jr has confirmed that Topp has left the GDC for NPP. However, the United Democratic Party spokesperson could not comment on the matter when contacted.
