The Local Government Service Commission has authorized significant personnel changes within numerous local councils, impacting crucial positions, as revealed in a document obtained by Kerr Fatou.
Among the notable changes, Modou Jonga, formerly serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Brikama Area Council, has been reassigned to take on the CEO role at the Banjul City Council.
This decision has set off a chain of subsequent relocations, including transferring Alagie Jeng, the former Finance Director at Brikama Area Council, to the Mansakonko Area Council. Concurrently, Seedy Touray, the CEO of Mansakonko Area Council, is slated to assume the responsibilities at Brikama Area Council.
Further reshuffling involves the appointment of Sheriff Njie, who previously served as Deputy Finance Director at KMC, as the Acting Finance Director at the Banjul City Council. Mustapha Batchilly, the former CEO of Banjul City Council, has been strategically reassigned to lead the Mansakonko Area Council.
