Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) in a statement said it has implemented the 30% salary increment approved by Parliament in July.
“The general public is hereby informed that the Kanifing Municipal Council has with effect from 1st September 2022 implemented the 30% salary increment as approved by the National Assembly on the 28th July 2022,” KMC said in a statement.
The council added that it prioritises staff motivation and retention as a key strategy for greater performance, and would continue to revisit staff motivation packages, periodically.
“On behalf of the General Council and management, we congratulate the council staff on this well-deserved increment and equally expect greater performance towards the achievement of the Council’s vision statement,” the statement added on Saturday.
