Gambia Democratic Congress [GDC] party Secretary General and leader Mama Kandeh has blasted President Adama Barrow for not implementing the promises he made to Gambians as candidate for the Coalition 2016.
“In 2016 Adama Barrow told the whole country that he will only stay in power for three years. He said, if they [coalition 2016] are in power, there will be security sector reform. They said they will do a civil service sector reform. They said they will bring [a ] new constitution, they said they will bring [a] Janneh commission to look into financial dealings of former president Jammeh. They said they will bring TRRC. These are the things they said they will do in three years but it’s now to five years, none of these promises are completed. Kandeh told a crowd of GDC supporters In Farafenni.
Mama Kandeh made these remarks at his party’s Saturday rally in Farafenni in the North Bank Region.
Mr Kandeh is the leader and Secretary General of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC), a party formed in 2016.
