Saihou Mballow, Presidential Adviser on political matters and a strong supporter of the National People’s Party (NPP) describes MC Cham Jr’s comments that president Barrow selected NPP members and supporters to the local government commission of inquiry as accusations that has ‘no substance’.
“His accusations have no substance. I don’t even know whether he is GDC any more or whether he is UDP or he is an activist. I cannot label him right now. Because if MC Cham is GDC, he should respect the principles of GDC and advocate for GDC. But he is jumping on UDP, he is jumping on other things. If you are selected by a party and given a position you should be seen as if you are protecting, promoting the principles of that party, but MC Cham is doing otherwise,” he told King FM Radio on Thursday.
The National Campaign Manager of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) recently accused president Adama Barrow of selecting his party members and supporters as commissioners to the local government commission of inquiry.
