In a letter dated 27th June 2022, The Gambia gazetted a notice of the cancellation of the lease land of Home of Medical Mission effective 27th 2022.
“Cancellation of lease number K12/07 notice is hereby given that lease number K12/07 in the name of Home of Medical mission has been Cancelled effective the 27 day of June, 2022,” the gazette said.
The mission has been at loggerheads with the state through the police over its continuous denial to access a property in Bijilo, despite the court ruling confirming GHoMM as the rightful owner of the property which is allocated by the Government for the construction of a five-star hotel for the 2022 OIC summit in The Gambia.
