The Gambia Moral Congress has expelled its former administrative secretary Alagie A.F. Jallow, the party said in a press release on Monday.
Jallow was a member of the National Executive of the party until he was expelled on Monday. Jallow is a native of Basse Santa-su and a teacher by profession.
GMC did not explain why they expelled Jallow but the party listed about 5 reasons that could lead to someone’s expulsion from the party.
“GMC notifies all Gambians and friends of The Gambia that should they deal with Alagie A.F. Jallow on GMC affairs, they would do so at their own risk. GMC supporters and militants are being advised to report to the nearest police station all acts of misrepresentation from this person, or if he continues to falsely parade himself as a member of the party, with effects from today, the 29 October 2018,” part of the statement reads.
