The Gambia Police Force’s Anti-Crime Unit apprehended a 53-year-old man on January 15th, 2024, in Dalaba Estate for allegedly threatening violence with a pistol. According to an official press release, the suspect was found in possession of an undocumented firearm during the arrest.
“The alleged suspect is currently in police custody, and investigations surrounding the incident is ongoing,” the statement reads
The police encourage the public to report such matters instead of resorting to personal interventions, which could jeopardize peace and security.
