The Gambia has registered 48 new confirmed cases but no deaths, according to the 284th national situation report dated 22nd March, 2021.
The country now has 5,303 confirmed cases; 161 deaths; 216 active cases; 4,926 recoveries; and 6 patients on oxygen therapy, since it registered its first case, a year ago.
While its neighbour Senegal, has 37,920 confirmed cases; 34,892 recoveries, and 1,016 deaths since the virus hit the Francophone nation. And the tally for globally cases stands at 124,338,690 confirmed cases; 100,325,116 recoveries; and 2,736,721deaths, since the outbreak began in the Chinese city of Wuhan in November, 2019, as of 22nd March, 2021.
