The Gambia Police Force has announced, via a press statement, that it is investigating the audit findings of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).
“The Gambia Police Force is examining the audit concerns highlighted in the Special Audit Report prepared by the Auditor General regarding the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC),” the statement read.
Additionally, the police assured the public that they would be kept updated on any significant developments during the investigation. “We commit to keeping the public informed of any major updates, and we guarantee that the investigation will be carried out with professionalism and integrity.”
